About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, make friends all over the world! Enjoy life!

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm a curious girl who loves meeting new people from different cultures! I have a positive outlook on life and I'm a laid back, relaxed person. Even though I don't have a loud personality, I am very open, honest and straightforward, and I love to talk and laugh - you can talk to me about literately anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the pleasure of hosting or couch surfing myself, but I'm planning to, very soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience whatsoever! But I find the concept very interesting and I would love to Couchsurf someday soon!

Interests

Meeting new people, learn, experience new things! I love talking to people, get to know them and their ideas. I love going out, talking with random people in a café, watching a movie or dancing the night away at a club!

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is very broad, when I'm at home I listen to radio, mostly current hits, preferably mixed with golden oldies from the 80s, or, depending on my mood, hiphop, or classical, etc. When I go out dancing I especially like hip hop/r&b, mixed with some good top 40 music and some good (dance/house) DJs! As long as it has a good beat, I'm happy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to South Africa is one of the most amazing things I've done in my lifetime! I've lived and studied there for 6 months (in 2012), I met some awesome people and it has taught me a lot, especially about myself! The most amazing part of my trip was the two week journey I embarked on with a few friends of mine; we started our trip kloofing Suicide Gorge in the Wilderness area in South Africa. It was one of the most difficult things I've done in my life, but looking back it was a wonderful experience, precisely for that reason. Most of all it has taught me, that endurance and perseverance can take you further than you could've ever imagined!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Among other things, my language - I give private lessons in Dutch as well as English to High school students in my country - and my positive energy!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Spain, Sweden
