About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore music, inspire kids and adults, bring smiles to everyone I pass.
ABOUT ME
I did neuroscience at university but after a year working in a laboratory I realised it wasn't for me. I now teach English in Germany, am a Fire performer, and am DJing deep house/tech house. But I love all music, from all over the world.
I am somewhat of a scatterbrain. I love to keep an open mind.
I have travelled all of South-East Asia alone and North America, and a fair bit of Europe. The best times I had travelling was in the company of the locals.
The many people that I met abroad have come through london and had a place to stay with me and it is very satisfying to be able to give them some guidance. Now i live in Berlin and I will do the same.
I love languages. I am fluent in Spanish and English, competent in German and learning French.
And lastly, and most importantly about me is I enjoy dancing to an unhealthy degree. I find it very hard to sit if theres good music playing.
PHILOSOPHY
success is not measured in how much money you have earnt, rather it is measured in how happy you are and the breadth of experiences you have.
If something bad happens I try to always see all the positive sides, look at it with a smile for what it was, rather than what could have been. If I don't, and I let negativity rule, I lose double, the bad thing that happened PLUS my happiness. So I do not let it take my happiness.
Bad things happen sometimes.
The trick is to accept it is what it is.
Change what you can, which is your response to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
You know nothing about a place until you have seen it through your eyes and the eyes of someone from said place.
I come from Lanzarote, an island sometimes called "Lanzagrotty" due to the tacky english fools that dont venture past the resort they stay in. They may say they have been to Lanzarote but they havent, they wont know the beautiful places I know. Those kind of tourist trap coast resorts could be anywhere and you couldn't tell the difference.
That is why I love couchsurfing. You meet like minded travellers and explore the true parts.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a vast variety of music not heavy metal or modern pop though.
I have a lot of love for so many different styles jazz, house, techno, drum and bass, dubstep, reggae, hiphop, 70s/80s/90s pop, rock, salsa, classical, ambient, folk and indie music any day.
Favourite however is deep house, techno and i have finally begun my attempt to mix with vinyl and make music on ableton which im hoping my music knowledge from having played piano will be of help.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
performed as a fire dancer on stage for 1200 people at secret garden party festival.
made my friends wedding dress.
seen too many beautiful landscapes across asia and north america to pick one. a lot of them left me breathless.
