Hello!

I'm Kimmie, I was born and raised in Southern California to a British mother and American father. I just graduated from university in December and moved to London in late January to do some traveling, working, and experiencing of the country where half my family is from! I plan to travel for as long as I can before joining the 'real' career world, because traveling is my passion. I have started a travel blog as well so we will see where it takes me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love the traveler-helps-traveler community. I know that I want to save money while being able to see the world, and I would love to help others with the same motives when I can. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to save money and also be able to experience a destination through the eyes of a local/someone who knows the area well, and to make likeminded friends too!

I love all music (mostly) but I am very into a lot of different genres of EDM music at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked 27 kilometers in one day through Royal National Park in Sydney, moved to two countries on my own and found my footing, started and maintained a travel blog for the past year, and get to work as a tour guide on boat tours of the croatian islands in the summer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge, experience, and stories from my travels and life growing up in California and moving to London. I can share experience and friendship and will enjoy getting to know my hosts and hearing about their time living in that place. And of course, the offer will be open to stay with me in my next destination or when I get back to California!
