About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel to as many places as possible!
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in northern California. Right now, I'm studying abroad in an Italian university for a year until July, and will be returning to the US to graduate!
PHILOSOPHY
Always be open to new ideas and experiences, and give everything a chance =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I'm a Couchsurfer...but that might change in the future, since I've met so many cool people through CS that I'm really considering hosting once I'm settled in a more permanent place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The day of my birthday was actually one of the most memorable Couchsurfing experiences. I decided to go with a friend to Frankfurt, Germany, to see the Christmas markets. Our host turned out to be a great tour guide, and made me feel really welcomed in her apartment. She even made me an amazing birthday dinner, and though we didn't end up going out the night I turned 20, we ended up spending the time talking about our different traveling experiences...I think I can truly say that I wouldn't have wanted to trade this birthday CS experience for anything else!
Interests
Going on random adventures whether it's just a walk around town or to a completely new place I've never been before, cooking & baking different kinds of cultural dishes, eating healthy, volleyball, visiting live music events, and photography

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite TV Shows: Travel shows like "Bizarre Foods w/ Andrew Zimmern" & "Amazing Race," cooking shows like "Chopped" & "Iron Chef," and AMC's "Mad Men"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Winged it in Paris for Christmas! It turned out to be an amazing trip even though my friend and I didn't know anyone in Paris and didn't know any French, besides the basic "bonjour" and "merci..."
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm currently giving private conversational English lessons in Italy, so I can definitely help anyone who'd like to practice up on their English :)
Also, I love to bake and cook, and if I couchsurf long enough, I might be able to cook up some of my specialties...which include banana bread and cheesecake.
Another pretty random thing I could help with is sound editing. I used to work at a radio station and have experience with sound-editing programs...so if you're someone who's interested in learning how to do that, I'd love to help you get started with a program I use!
