About Me

ABOUT ME

We are both very outdoorsy people. Love to snowboard, bodyboard, swim in surf at the beach, John dirtbikes, I'm learning.

We adore food and love to cook. Love having people over for a kiwi BBQ and drinks.

Are really interested in learning new cultures, languages, cooking styles, ways of life.

Family oriented and love being with friends and making new ones.

Also love a good party and boogie

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can't host anyone right now as we are travelling for 10 months or so. We definitely will when we get home though! I have had people come and stay with me at my flat in Auckland for short stints from Argentina, Spain and England and John has had people from Germany live with him for 3 months (just friends of friends.)

When we were living in England for 18 months we had many people stay from 3 days up to 2 weeks. Loved it! Our household was always busy.

We love meeting new people from around the world and plan to open our own backpackers/BnB when we get back to New Zealand

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some great people in Syria and Turkey! Loved every minute.

Had some lovely friends and surfers stay with us in London!

Working in an igloo in Austria, beautiful and amazing!

Helping on a rice farm in Cambodia, rewarding and humbling, a new appreciation for rice!
