ABOUT ME

Every time I reread my couchsurfing profil after a while I always think "man, you really have to edit it because you changed so much since you wrote this". But since I'm right now in a state where I change and develop at a higher speed I really dont want to rewrite this every two weeks or so. So please dont judge my personality based on the stuff here but do get to know me in person :)

I'm an open-minded person. I love to travel around, meet new and chill people and just having a good time. I'm pretty uncomplicated. I know how to entertain myself for a while and sometimes even like having some time for myself. Otherwise I love to have people around me who do not have high-living standards and those who might share my living attitude :) Because you only have around 80 years of life and I'm really trying to make the most out of it! "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one single step."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the best experience I had on my first backpacking trip through Central America was definitely coach surfing. I was overwhelmed by the kindness people showed to strangers. Overwhelmed how they took me into their home, made me feel home and let me be part of their live and family.
This experience made me see the world as a friendlier world. It made me change part of my negative view of the world to a more positive.
I want to be part of this amazing community and be able to give my kindness to others and welcome them with open arms in my home :)

Interests

My life-long love is being part of my drama-group :) I love to sing and play the guitar even so I suck haha I do like playing basketball and every kind of sports especially jogging. Update: that's a lie. I do not like jogging. But I still try to do it as often as I am in the mood.
Right now traveling is taking over a huge part of my live. I want to explore the world, see places I've never been to and meet all those crazy people out there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie music! Beirut is my absolute favorite! I'm open for any kind especially, well indie, but also acoustic-folk, I love Ed Sheeran, but Hip-Hop and Reggae is great too.
I do not watch Horror-movies. I'm too easily scared and can't sleep for 2 weeks haha
Favorite books .. thats a tuff one. Right now everything from Erich Fromm. Hermann Hesse, Paulo Coelho, "Einführung in die kritische Theorie", AbiturWissen Biologie haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a caving tour in Guatemala which was amazing! We only had a candle to light or way and had to go through a waterfall. It was pretty intense haha

Jumped off a bridge in a wild river.

But in a nutshell my whole 3 month trip through Central America was just amazing.

2 weeks in an Ashram in India. Meditation & daily yoga.

I would love to improve my guitar playing skills! oh and also my cooking skills! So if anyone is interested to cook with me .. let me know ;)

What I ALWAYS wanted to learn is sign language.

I have weird eating habits which might be for some not understandable. I'm a full-time vegan and half-time raw-vegan .. but right now I'm just experimenting what feels good for my body and whats not ..
