Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I know I'm not always at home and not always online to cater all CouchRequests. But I do help CSers when I ain't that busy. Once I'm in my place, I could definitely host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A friend of mine told me about CS when I was still in Bangkok(2010). I have seen how it works, but I didn't sign up yet. It was when I went back here in the Philippines that I remembered CS again and joined in.
One of my best experience here in CS was last January 2014 during the Dinagyang Festival here in Iloilo City, in which I hosted 3 different nationalities(Israeli, French & Canadian). Almost every night its always a party. You'll be totally pleased seeing all of your guest enjoying.
Interests
I'm interested in learning new things, meeting other people, exchange of ideas, travels, documentary films, history books, rock n roll, good times, etc. Actually I do have a lot of interests to mention, better ask me about it in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2010 Thailand
I got lost in Minburi, and almost all the people I asked where's the direction going to the bus station doesn't speak English. Good thing I saw a policeman, I talked to him and gave him some cigarettes. After few sticks done, he drove me to the bus station for free. Hehehe!
I fell asleep in a bus, my original destination is going Tak Province but when I woke up, I'm already in Chiang Mai. Well, instead of going back to Tak, I strolled Chiang Mai streets for a while looking for an awesome view of nature. Yeah! I enjoyed most the of it.
My French friend challenge me to a beer marathon and we ended up totally wasted. The last thing I remember was we rode in a bus with no English sign. The moment he woke me up we're already at Aranyaprathet-Poipet International Border Area(Thai-Cambodian Border). Hahahaha! It was awesome!
2010 Laos
I celebrated my 24th Birthday all alone in Vientiane having 6 beers(Beerlao) while soaking my foot on the Mekong River.
I was totally exhausted from a long and tiresome trip from Bangkok to Vientiane but I can't sleep. So I invited my French friend to drink with me so that we could have our early rest. We started 7am and ended 11am. Yeah we did signed off before lunchtime. When I woke up by 4pm, oh! Yeah!! Beer is ready.
2011 Cambodia
I went solo going to Phnom Penh from Poipet and I can't sleep or even have a quick nap in that 8 hour travel due to noisy Khmer passengers around me.
I have roamed 85% of the whole city of Phnom Penh by foot relying only on a tourist map.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
--> our local language
--> some street stuff
--> how things are done in my place
---> just watch and learn, wait and see, it's a surprise
Learn:
I really love learning new things. Learning is always part of our daily lives. It's an active process. Please don't harness the curiosity within you. Set it free.
Share:
--> our culture
--> my experiences about local places
--> my travels
--> my unorthodox way doing things
--> secret arts
