ABOUT ME

Originally from Latvia-Riga, living in Scotland-Edinburgh, I have come to Berlin to push my boundaries. I feel like I have been stuck in a place and need some artistic jump start. I am curious to meet local artists and find out about their missions and passions. I am here for 3 months to begin with and hope to couch surf the first period to meet locals. I am very independent, tidy and a great cook.

I grab my life by the lapels and refuse to stop and mope. I have a gift of the gab and I try to see and bring out the best in people around me. What I lack in attention to detail, I make up for in my ability to process the world around me, slotting it into my 'highly' evolved system of values. With a need for constant stimulation, I can quickly become passionate about new ideas, people and sometimes their flaws – which can land me in trouble. A lot.

Adept at social situations, I am also perfectly happy in my own company and indeed I value time alone to process my experiences.

At all times the simplest way to understand me is to know that I am an introvert playing an extrovert. Yes. I doesn't make sense. But you got to push to find out your limits.

On my bad day, I might come across as indiscreet, flamboyant and hasty, I can also become controlling and over-bearing but that’s only because I know best, ok? :3

PHILOSOPHY

I think I have this thing where everybody has to think I'm the greatest, the quote unquote "Fantastic Mr. Fox." And if they aren't completely knocked out and dazzled and slightly intimidated by me, I don't feel good about myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

specifically for Berlin, I would love to meet artistic types, maybe do some projects together, go dancing etc

Interests

My interests very much depend on my mood and caffeine levels in my body, but in general everything excites me. However we can always talk about everything and nothing over a cup of coffee, discuss arts and aesthetics late in the evening and screams at each other our likes over wild dancing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am great with languages and can help anyone with English or beginners level Japanese. Will gladly give drawing lessons if interested or cooking tips.

I am also love to do rope and shibari; for art, for head space and for bedroom. If you have curiosity I have my rope - Mushushu with me and can teach some basics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have much to offer but great company, loads of debates, any of my art that will be liked and loads and loads of tasty cooking (I am not sure I have to write this, but obviously I would tidy up after myself)
