About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want my kids to see the world!
ABOUT ME
Right now I'm working in radio for a public broadcaster. Most of my 'away from work' time is spent with friends and much of that includes my kids. Every Sunday I host a brunch with neighbours and friends--some have kids, some are single, and others just come for the great food. Often those brunches are accompanied by music, depending on who brings their guitar, but it is always different. That's the beauty of having an open-door policy.
My kids are old enough now that I feel like I can take them anywhere, and they're young enough that I don't mind pulling them out of school for a cultural experience. My hope is that couchsurfing will help me to travel with them more economically, and thus more frequently, but will also provide a community/cultural experience that we wouldn't find on a resort or just on the beach.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that we are always evolving--as individuals and as players in the many relationships we build along the way. I also believe that we must treat each relationship with respect, honesty, and care.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any couchsurfing experience but spent several months making my way around New Zealand and Australia in hostels. I later spent about 5 months in India where I sometimes stayed in hotels, but often met families along the way that were willing to invite me into their homes.
Interests
I love art, music and lots of time outdoors. I have two outgoing kids who love to meet new people and I can't wait to show them what the world has to offer.
