ABOUT ME

I'm a nice guy, open minded, love to learn and to teach others. I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast, passionate about food, enjoy good conversation, and I like to travel. I know that I don't know everything and I am very open to learning and talking about everything. I can enjoy talking about the most boring and controversial things but be completely respectful and impartial in every way. I have all kinds of thoughts and knowledge about many things so I can talk about anything really.

PHILOSOPHY
Learn, be open minded, before being persuaded think about it for awhile. Compassion. The funny thing, even un-compassionate people need compassion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled in North America and Europe and never learned so much. It's amazing how much you learn when you travel. I've been in Europe, hosted by locals that helped out in all kinds of ways. It was priceless. I have a book of photos documenting this.. forever to be kept in memory!

Interests

I like all kinds of things but I generally ski during winter, tennis in spring, water sports in summer and biking in between. In my last year of college I joined the sailing team and had a blast. I have since had the opportunity to join another serious competitive sailing team where I get to travel and compete.

I tend to drift off into the non-fiction section of the library.. especially the science section.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be on a pole vaulting team, that was wild.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about nearly everything. One thing that I never get tired about is plants and I am amazed by people who can point out all kinds of plants and tell all kinds of things about them.
