About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Bermuda, but raised around the Ring of Fire, and in Pennsylvania.
Honestly, when it comes to languages, I speak bastardised versions of English (esky, whinge, colors/colours...), along with a mixture of German, Japanese, Chinese, and now Hindi if I'm very tired. The only constant in my language is a strong belief in the Oxford comma.

PHILOSOPHY

"For this is what we do. Put one foot forward and then the other. Lift out eyes to the snarl and smile of the world once more. Think. Act. Feel. Add our little consequence to the tides of good and evil that flood and drain the world. Drag our shadowed crosses into the hope of another night. Push our brave hearts into the promise of a new day. With love: The pure, ineffable yearning to be saved. For so long as fate keeps waiting, we live on. God help us. God forgive us. We live on."
-Shantaram, by Gregory David Roberts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Ayers Rock alone when I was five...
My dad and I were climbing it together. But soon after we started he doubled over and made a gesture that I took to mean go on, so I did.
Two hours later I was at the top, sitting near the edge, with the most amazing rush of emotions I was too young understand.
