About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel; to eat whilst travelling; and to meet new people.

ABOUT ME

Hello,

I moved to Birmingham to study music composition, which I have subsequently completed.
I now work as a head barista in a coffee shop, and as a climbing instructor.

Interests

Coffee, Music & Fitness

I work as a barista in a coffee house in Birmingham, UK and I enjoy taking trips to other cafés of note to try out different drinks/beans, frequently going to London to sample the scene there.
I also work as a climbing instructor, which is fantastic as is gives me the opportunity to work with people of all ages and capabilities. I love the challenge it brings.
I love sports and fitness, training frequently, both in calisthenics, running or swimming and rock climbing. My girlfriend too is trying to have me practise yoga more, but we'll have to see how that goes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been fortunate to have seen or done a number of amazing things on my travels, and more fortunate still to have met some truly wonderful people, so to list everything would be impossible, and would leave little for conversation.

Two notable experiences:
Riding from 4am on a small motorcycle, with 3 friends, to Pavagadh, India in order to climb to the temple there. Seeing the sun rise over the horizon whilst riding (a bit too fast) along an Indian highway was amazing.

Sailing along the river to reach the Taman Negara reserve in Malaysia when a thunderstorm broke. At the time I had the sense of being very insignificant and small within something much bigger than myself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
