I work from home doing social media/email marketing - wherever home may be! If there's wi-fi, I'm all set.

Prior to my current job, I started my own business and graduated from Hollins University, where I studied International Studies with interests in sustainability, anthropology, politics and human rights.

I can't wait to continue traveling, seeing more of the world, and meet at least some of the incredible people in it. I strive to live my life in a way that benefits both my personal growth and the broader community. The more I give, the better I feel and vice versa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My family and I have hosted and couchsurfed all over, including a cross-country roadtrip across the States, a European adventure with my best friend in Hamburg, Germany and a 6-week stint in Bhaktapur, Nepal.

I've never had access to a community as diverse, broad and beautiful as this one and am so grateful for the fantastic people I've met.

My sister and I had our first experience couchsurfing in Amarillo, Texas. I had heard about couchsurfing in our local paper years before and decided on a whim that we should try it out. We were running very late from traffic, weather, etc. and sent a message to her, apologizing that we wouldn't arrive at her house until after 3am. She replied with, "Oh, it's no problem! Here's my address, the key is under the rock shaped like Texas and just make sure you let the cat in! See you in the morning!"

The level of trust she gave us is one I will always try to emulate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen both sides of the Himalayas and flown over them twice, including a mountain flight to see Mt. Everest. Truly, unbelievably beautiful - the one thing I would recommend for every single person's bucket list.

I can teach you how to make stirrum (egg crepes). Or do Coptic bookbinding. Or cartwheel. Or knit. Or write your name in Katakana. Or make potato prints. Or edit a resume.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm, cooking/cleaning, an ability to see chores and tasks that need to be done and then taking ACTION to actually do them. :)
