Phileas Fog did it in 80 days, I intend to go around the world in 8 months. UPDATE - make that 6 and a bit months!

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty easy going and able to talk about anything. I love meeting people from far off places and sharing stories about different cultures. Am I the classic English gentleman? Maybe in small doses. I do still know how to party, but anything past midnight unfortunately has to be at weekends these days! I like bacon sandwiches, but that doesn't mean you have to as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always wanted to travel the world and it looks as though I'm finally about to do it. Naturally I'd like to give something back, so the couch in the lounge of my flat is available to all and sundry, though I don't expect many travellers to be passing through sunny Southport.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with two hosts so far on my cross-USA travels and they were both excellent experiences. So far I have not got a bad word to say about couchsurfing.
