I've an insatiable curiosity for knowledge and read voraciously.. mostly early 20th century stuff and wikipedia...

PHILOSOPHY

I wud love to say it is 'Live Life King-Size!'

But it isn't really true....

To sum it up in one line: 'Take it easy, nice and slow!'

No, wait! It is: 'Go with the wind... it'll take you somewhere in the end!'

Um.... Dat's not it. May be it is, 'Make the most of everything with the least effort!'

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host a lot of people in Moscow along with my lovely flatmate. Didn't keep a count, but the total number of guests would have to be upwards of 50 in the 6-7 months when we hosted actively...

I also used to volunteer for new member welcome, offered help for CS Mag which is still to be taken.

I try to attend meets and events etc. Currently I'm hosting selectively.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch-staying experience was at Emily's in York, England. It was a great experience... So it was with Kirsty in Edinb. and Kirsty's mom Ilanora in Strontian, Scottish highlands!

CS - well, who would have thought the world will unite this way!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I was in a small coastal town in south-east india... with a deserted beach and palm trees and mountains dotting the opposite horizon... a small river meets the sea during the low tide... and at places it is just ankle deep

I lay on my back in the water... gazing into the sky. The water was running through my hair... around my almost-bare body and it felt different. Like I became a part of it all... the river, the sea, the sky and me!

Took a lot of effort pulling myself away!
