Overview
About Me
I study graphic design in Budapest therefore I love art and culture. Especially, I love travelling abroad for art and concerts. My hobbies are mostly in connection with my profession, fine art and music, for example I like reading books about art history, designers and their projects. Nowadays, I'm thinking a lot about what the role of graphic design is.
Newly, I am a member of a choir in the Liszt Academy, we have a few concerts this year, can't wait to be on stage.
Due to University, I don't have a full-time job, but I got some illustration projects which I can do while studying.
I live with my mom and my 24-years-old brother in Budapest. I only have a few friends but they are really close. I’m not really into parties, I prefer concerts and exhibitions, a coffee or a drink with some friends.
I only tried couchsurfing once when I travelled to Stockholm for a concert, but it was a really great experience. I hope I can repeat it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new people and cultures. Travelling abroad seems really interesting for me. Even though I am only 21, I've been to a lot of wonderful countries, but for a student sometimes it is very expensive to find a great accommodation.
Interests
As I said, most of the time I'm doing graphic design, but I love painting, drawing, singing, reading, walking, doing yoga, cooking and organising everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
Besides classical music I love others as well! My absolute favourites are PJ Harvey and Radiohead but I also love some rarities like Tool, Sonic Youth - and independent projects of Thurston Moore, Sun Ra, Morphine, Primus, Alice in Chains. To list some other categories, I like every formation that includes Jack White (White Stripes, The Dead Weather, Raconteurs...), Lisa Hannigan, Regina Spektor, Asaf Avidan, Massive Attack and naturally, The Beatles...
My favourite writers are Hermann Hesse, Daniel Keyes, a hungarian genius Magda Szabó, William Golding, Gombrich and so on...
Favourite painters, artists: Recently, I'm almost in love with Bruegel but my all-time favourites are Paul Klee (and all the Bauhaus members), Egon Schiele, abstract expressionists like Pollock and Rothko, minimalists like Richard Serra and some artists from viennese actionism for example Hermann Nitsch, but sometimes it is just too much for me. Here are some graphic designers who got me inspired: Queen Paula Scher, Vince Frost, Zsolt Vidák, Anna Farkas.
The most difficult of all is to choose favourite movies... Let's say some examples. Persona, Jagten, Love (Károly Makk), Blue is the Warmest Color, Girl Interrupted, The Beguiled, Lobster, Silence, movies by PTA, Quentin Tarantino, Inarritu, Farhadi, Coen Brothers etc...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 6 my parents realized that I am talented in singing, therefore they took me to an audition. Then I got into a very famous music school. 4 years later I also became a member of the Hungarian Children Choir, which is a well-known chorus.
Teach, Learn, Share
