I am Kinga and my favourite activities are to travel and having naps:)
I backpacked a lot in Asian and Africa for a year and two years ago I discovered my passion for hitchhiking in Europe. I love to travel spontaneous without big plans following the advice of the people I meet.
I studied biology and now am doing my masters in environmental sciences. Therefore I like to be outside in the nature, sleeping in a tent or hiking.
It is always hard to descibe oneself, but I think I am a very open and laidback person, who is excited about lern or see new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Friends told me about this website and the opportunity to get in contact with local people by staying at their homes, which sounds so great for me. So I thought that I gonna try this way to explore a new cultures and not only stay in hostels with other backpackers:)
I am so lucky that I could already see so many places and meet so many different and inspiring peorsons and I would like to share my experiences with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all kind of music, especially live! At home I am mostly listening to Indie, Pop or Rock music. I played the Violine for a couple of years that is why I also enjoy klassic a lot. But I am open for all music genres:)

I do not watch too many movies and do not really have a favorite one, but I am a fan of all Disney movies;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So so many!
I met people, I would never have met back home and we became good friends.
I was trekking in the Himalayas looking at the highest mountains on earth and helped to teached children on a school in a small town in Nepal.
I had the privilege to spot wild orang utans in the rainforest.
I hiked a volcano and enjoed the sunset from the crater.
Beeing invited from so many People for dinner or to stay with them in Iran.
And beeing picked up by some many great and interesting People while hitchhiking:)

But the best experience is still to meet all the different and welcomingt people from all over the world!

I can share all my experiences, I made during my travel and give tipps to everyone, who wants to visit a place I have already been:)
I grew up in Poland and in Germany so I can deliver an insight in the cultures of both countries.
