ABOUT ME

Laughing way too loud. Photographer addicted to flight booking and exploring new areas, never going to the same place twice. I do fall in love with certain places for certain reason, always want to associate the place with people I try to meet over there, hence the CS.

I can't say I'm not a liar but I always say what I think and in that field - I am definitely not a liar. Whenever I feel like doing something I do it, whenever I feel like saying something I say it - it really helps to stay in peace with yourself and enjoy your life way more.

I'm a travel, music, photography and sushi addict. Kinga is my real name. If you ever have a chance to meet me - we're gonna have this conversation anyway:)

I'm pretty open minded and easy going, rather laud and talkative. When I first meet someone I prefer to start the conversation in a way we've known each other for ages, really don't need any fake invocation - we should be really good mates in couple of hours anyway hey!

I like smart people, Love sharing my experiences and ideas, love learning from them. I really know how to laugh and I know how to laugh at myself. Just love spending time with people who don't take everything too serious!

I got to travel to charge my batteries. If I'm staying in one place for too long without exploring any new area I feel really tired. Can't help it.

PHILOSOPHY

To live a creative life we must lose our fear of being wrong. Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for what you will be criticized anyway and live life to the fullest as you only live once and nothing will ever change it.

And be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do my best to meet as many members of the CS when I'm traveling as possible - I don't use CS as a free place to stay but to hang out with interesting new people. Everyone's so much different and everyone's so interesting - cs gives you a great opportunity to easily meet people from all over the world and to listen to their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: rock'n'roll saved my soul, it rised me like a good parent.

Books: Bill Bryson as my fav travel writer. Haruki Murakami and his Wind Up Bird Chronicles - well, this mesmerising and perplexing masterpiece simply blew my mind. Most probably the only one of all the long books that didn't bore me to death on the 15th page.

Movies: Samsara, Baraka, King's Speech, You Don't Know Jack, Mary and Max, Everything is Illuminated, Whatever Works, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the Great Gatsby, Perfume: the story of the murderer, Into the Wild, Django, Se7en, Butelki Zwrotne, Les Amours Imaginaires, Shutter Island and many more I can't name any longer. I'm crap with the titles and even worse with actors' names.

TV Series: That 70's Show, The Big Bang Theory, The Misfits, Weeds, Little Britain - yes, always up for some laugh

I haven't had a TV for about nine years now and I'm not willing to get one in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did 175m bungee, I slept on the streets of Napoli (I slept on different streets in my life but you know... Napoli), I moved my life from the UK to Italy within five days only because I fell in love with Venice and Italian food and architecture, with 37kg of my material life; I did canyoning in Slovenia, I almost destroyed a newsagent's jumping around when I saw my photo published in Nat Geo Traveler. Pretty much everything I do is amazing as far as things is my life just happen without planning. I never plan anything. EVER. I just live my dream.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always excited to learn something new and explain things someone else doesn't get. The best lesson though is when you teach and learn just through some actions, unintentionally. Share a bit of your soul and remain in someone else's hart forever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll share a piece of my heart. I can give you some tips on photography and teach you how to roll sushi or how to use an Italian moka pot. I won't tell you anything about Polish vodka - the only fact I know is that it's not true that bisons pee on the grass which is in each bottle of żubrówka.
