Hi! I'm a 22 year old who graduated last year and now travelling out in the big wide world alone for the first time. I'm starting in North America and staying there until June where I hope to meet lots of amazing people and learn from my interactions and experiences.

I'm completely new to Counchsurfing so apologies for the quite bare looking profile but I love to meet people and make new friends from anywhere in the world, and I thought using this website is perfect.

Since starting 2 weeks ago, I've managed to meet a fellow traveller and take a roadtrip all around the South-West USA to many, many national parks. It's been wonderful!

I love stories: so listening to stories and storytelling is a big hobby of mine. Otherwise, I love to go on hikes, read fiction, skateboard, watch movies, play video games, photography and all that usual stuff :)

Books: Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse, His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman and Great Gatsby by Scott Fitzgerald are some of my favourites.

Movies: So so many, but the Lord of the Rings trilogy will always hold a special place in my heart

Music: I'm really into funk right now - so I'm listening to a lot of Thundercat and Kamasi Washington. But I love all sorts of music, from cheesy 80s pop (due to my love of karoke) to hip-hop.

I used to organise a lot of events at university: One time I organised an international beverage festival that hundreds of people took part in and 20 nationalities were represented. I handed £200 to each nationality representative to buy that amount of alcohol from their home country. Guests who attended were able to sample hundreds of varieties of drinks - much of which is unavailable to buy in the UK. The night was unforgettable to the people who still remember what happened!
