ABOUT ME

I work for a non-profit organization that trains and provides assistance dogs for people with disabilites (the pay is low but it's emotionally rewarding). I like to spend a lot of time outside hiking, playing golf, and swimming. I would like to have more time to read than I do. I have a 3 year old female husky mix. I love to travel and experience the world; there are so many places to see and so little time in which to see them.

PHILOSOPHY

Always live in the moment. Never put off something that you really want to do (even though you probably shouldn't do it). Life is too short so make the most of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed for the first time about a year ago in London. Amazing experience! Since then I've even hosted a couple of times. I look forward to doing a lot more of both.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy just about every type of music except country and rap. I like all kinds of movies (especially comedies and suspense). I like to read, but I really don't have the free time to sit down and read for any length of time. I enjoy going to concerts (when i have the money).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done lots of things. I've parasailed in the Florida Keys, gone snorkling in the Bahamas, hiked the German Alps, gone whitewater rafting, gone canoeing in the Florida Everglades, I've been to Time Square in New York on New Years Eve, and spent St. Patricks day in Ireland!

I play many different instruments (piano, bass and accoustic guitar, trombone, euphonium, some french horn, etc.). I have an intermediate knowledge of german.
