About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the Earth and Experience Life!

ABOUT ME

I'm Chris, from England originally.
I love to travel the world. My life fits into one bag.

I'm out-going, energetic and open-minded. I find people fascinating, and I'm here for the experience of meeting and making friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short, and the world is very big. I want to make the most of the time I have, through experience. I want to make a difference, and I want to find my place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I am not homeless, I am ready to offer my couch to anyone in need of a place to relax, a place to share experiences, and a place to have fun! I'm also keen to just hang out.

When I am homeless, I would be very thankful for any hospitality offered.

I will treat others in a way that I would expect to be treated myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to the Couch Surfing website, but not the concept. Many times people, that I have met on my travels, have offered me places on their couches. These acts of generosity, want me to continue pursuing this concept as much as possible.

I try to offer the same when possible.

Interests

Travelling and meeting new people is a passion of mine. Hence the reason for me subjecting myself to a nomadic lifestyle.

Additionally, I enjoy; Sleeping, Running, Cooking, Film, Skiing, Networking. I have many hobbies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mt. Everest. These include, a 100km+ hike, altitude sickness at 5000 meters, getting lost, getting rescued by a friend from Japan who happened to be walking by, an accidental engagement, a plane crash, an escape, a monsoon, and a long bumpy bus journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been a teacher for a number of years. If English is not your first language, I can help. Also, I like cooking, and I'm a keen long distance runner, so I can share my knowledge on these things. Additionally, I have visited many countries.

If something interests me and it's new, I will want to learn from others. I will generally try almost anything once.
