Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have researched this and talked about it with a friend who has done it from Hong Kong to Lisbon. I am a novice and have just surfed one time in Portland. However, I have just surfed once with a friend there. It was an amazing experience and I believe the philosophy of giving out to the world and you will get back. I plan to continue this new adventure of couch surfing and give back in the ways that I can.

Interests

Learning about new cultures and new languages, reading, walking, hiking. writing poetry/prose and swimming,yoga, meditation,advocate for mentally ill, and equality for all,working on my spiritual self, talking about existential subjects such as religion, one's divine and working to make peace where my fears are, people watching at an outdoor cafe

Aug.09 Kite Runner: amazing look at Afghanistan through a local who grew up there also about the coming of age and made me cry It takes a lot for me to cry over a book.
I read it two weeks ago and am still carrying it with me.
