ABOUT ME

Howdy! I'm a musician & artist from Kingston, Ontario/Canada. I've always been passionate about performing/entertaining and creating, but i pay the bills as a self employed Carpenter/Paint contractor. I've always been a traveler at heart, and owning my own business has given me the flexibility to do lots of exploring over the years, including a few paint jobs around the U.S. and one in Copenhagen, Denmark (great city!) I live and work in Kingston, where i was born and raised, and currently am living with my younger brother and sister (Brady Bunch!)... very close with all of my family, and therefore have never opted to move to another city, but i do like to get away as often as i can manage. I've always been a 'summer' person, and will take any opportunity to avoid the snow and frigid temps of Canadian winter... planning a trip to Central America for Feb/March this year!I frequently visit musician friends and family in the U.S. and will be heading out on a bit of a road trip in January 2012, driving my aunts car from North Carolina to Seattle... decided to try out this site, as i'd heard good things from fellow travelers, and thought it would be a much more interesting way to stay as i make my way across the country... plus,a whole lot of solo driving makes the prospect of meeting some new people along the way that much more inviting...

Pretty new to CS, and at the moment, just looking to surf, as i'm heading out of town for the winter, but i'll be back home in the spring and plan to be ready to host!

Música, películas y libros

I enjoy all genres of music, with a strange soft spot for any sort of over the top 80's stuff and current pop music...(read, Huey Lewis to Bon Jovi.) and i really enjoyed the last Beyonce album, which for most people that know me well would seem out of character. I also spend a lot of time listening to the music my friends make... gotta support the cause!as far as movies and books go... I've seen "The Departed" more times than i can count, and i've recently been on a Vietnam war history kick, both with books and documentaries... off the top, some other favorite flicks include The Fall, Exit through the gift shop, Goodfellas, Stand by me and any of Richard Pryor's live videos.
