ABOUT ME
We are a family of four which includes two adults and two kids (born in 2004 and 2013).
We currently live in Totnes, Devon, UK, since summer of 2016, after the past six years of living in Nelson, BC, Canada. After living with others in community for the past dozen years, the four of us are living without anyone else. We also endeavor to live lightly on the earth, and don't own a car, use bikes often, eat primarily vegetarian and local.
We are a community-oriented, multicultural family who enjoy people, learning and travel. Like many families, we juggle lots in our household, as both Miguel and Tasha work (a little less than full time) and our eldest Home Educates.

Music, Movies, and Books
A favourite movie is Harold and Maude.
Books, too many to list, but here's some of the big names I like to read Thich Nhat Hanh, Maxine Hong Kingston, Alice Walker, Herman Hesse, Maya Angelou, Pema Chodron.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in rural Nepal for a year.
Lived in a Buddhist community in France for another year.
Lived in a peace activist/refugee house in England.
Having kids.
Seen lots of amazing things in each of those places.
Teach, Learn, Share
The four of us have lots of knowledge and skills to share! At least one of us can teach plant identification, dance, fermentation, western and eastern philosophy, how to draw trucks, Spanish, meditation, playing with trains, basic swimming and more.
