Overview
About Me
I am third year undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, one of the premier technology institutes of the country. I am also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, having delivered numerous graceful stage performances. I am music enthusiast, singing all kinds of old Bollywood songs and jamming to everything from Beatles, Nirvana to Taylor Swift. I am also into freestyle, waacking, and dancehall. I love talking about life, existence, science, fashion and fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I am music enthusiast, singing all kinds of old Bollywood songs and jamming to everything from Beatles, Nirvana to Taylor Swift. I like soft acoustic music and blues to sing, and loud pop/ Punjabi music to dance wild to. I like watching Bollywood movies, sci-fi Hollywood movies. Some of my favourite movies are Nayak: The Real Hero, Interstellar, Gone Girl. My favourite shows are Sherlock, F.R.I.E.N.D.S , How I Met Your Mother, and more recently, The End of The F***ing World. My all-time favourite read is The Norwegian Wood by Japanese author Haruki Murakami.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled solo to Russia on a volunteering exchange to St. Petersburg, and also lived in Moscow and Petergof. I walked almost the entire city on foot and the metro and visited so many unknown streets and discovered a hidden Beatles museum in the middle of the city. I made lots of friends along the journey, went camping, went bungee jumping, lived with hundred school kids in the forest, performed with musicians on the streets. But the best part of it all was living with a Russian family with three daughters, I felt like I made another family in Russia. We still keep in touch over VK and it's so good to be seeing the girls grow up!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to spend time with and chill out with my host(s) over the weekend or after studies. We can jam, talk about life, music, movies, existence, science, philosophy and everything under the Sun. I would share Indian food and spices that I would bring and we can even cook Indian and Mexican dishes. I can teach Hindi and Indian classical dance and Bollywood dance and music!
