About Me
I want to be human!
That can mean a variety of things: from traveling and exploring Mother Earth to making bonds and connections that could last a lifetime. Investigating the world is apart of my human design - to see it with my own eyes.
With that type of spirit, I have lived/traveled to many states (and even a couple of countries as well) finding others who believe the same. Being born on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. in Alabama gave me the opportunity to grow up with a Southern flavor. Afterwards, I moved to Denver, CO for 2 years to experience the Rockies, New Mexico for 8 months to roam the high desert, Puerto Rico for 6 months to live the tropical farm life, Nicaragua for 3 years to become a member of an intentional community, Mexico for half a year to start my music career, Colombia to go on a lbs Ayawasca journey, and now Hawai’i for close to 5 years for a taste of paradise. What an experience!
However, my travels were not solely for my benefit. I'm a helper at heart and my travels are always to help humans with dreams. For instance, in PR, I traveled independently helping organic farmers. Giving is what we have to offer the world.
Apart from traveling, music is also one of my main passions. I became a DJ with an Afro twist - blending beats from Black American, Caribbean, and Afro Latin music with positive and spiritual messages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an awesome way to connect with like-minded people on a more human level by using the internet to create a sense of community. However, with CS, you actually meet these people face-to-face!
It also joins up with my desire to become worldly and learn other cultures and languages. This way, we can tear down superficial cultural walls that do not really exist, and discover that we all share common human bonds. We are all apart of the same tribe.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have no preference of genre, just funky music from around the world: from Funk/Soul to Indie Electronica, from Afrobeat to World Reggae, from Japanese jazz and hip hop to Latin Salsa and Cumbia. From acoustic and instrument playing to DJing and Electronica, I like it all really.
I do not have much time for watching movies; however, I do enjoy documentaries and thought-provoking films that expands the consciousness.
Books that intrigue me right now are ones about spirituality and mastering the mind. Also, books on song writing!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have stayed alive! Isn't that good enough? Is that not amazing? Apart from that, I’ve taken part in a motivation presentation for Venezuelans in Colombia to give them inspiration.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am awesome at being a buddy! I love to share time and be empathetic with whomever I meet. Since I crave profound conversations, I would love having a host that shares this feeling.
If the host is a music lover like me, we can definitely share music, and even play some as well! I always travel with an instrument; right now, my banjolele captures my attention.
Also, I love to help; so if the host has a little project to complete, count me in!
