I'm old enough to want to change the world and young enough to do it. i love trains, people and their stories, oceans, and sunrises.

PHILOSOPHY

Although I may come across as such at times, I am not an idealist. However, I do think striving for peace and compassion makes us better. I believe this starts with understanding.

Nothing will grant a greater understanding of life than meeting people who live it all sorts of ways. When you see, touch, smell, taste and feel those different lives first hand, so much about how you view the world changes. Your mind opens up in places you didn't know it was closed and you come away better. Better for you and better for the world.

ive jumped off cliffs in turkey, been broken down on a boat in the middle of the mediterranean, seen the sun rise over the colosseum in rome, slept under the stars in greece, picnicked in the countryside of the czech republic, walked the moonlit streets of prague, learned the secret of gardening from an old man in hungary, found my roots in poland, rode a camel in front of the pyramids in egypt, cooked ugali and played cards with children in southeast africa, danced with a maasai warrior on zanzibar, learned how to say 'cheers' in almost every language i could imagine, and forged amazing lifelong friendships.

but the best part is that there's so much more out there for me to discover and experience.
