ABOUT ME

Grown up in Hagen, Germany I moved out after my high school graduation and have since lived in Frankfurt, Munich, Beijing, Vienna and Milan. I love to meet new people and learn from them and I am obsessed with the quote in my mission. Now, that I have graduated and have less time to travel, I am just going back on Couchsurfing after a couple of years of absence. Still travelling though, still a nomad at heart.
I am generally perceived as a sunny, open minded personality and get along with everybody. However, I am also outgoing and outspoken and sometimes a bit too low-context for some people, carrying my heart on my tongue.
Also, I will always see the good in people and tend to think the best of them and I am not wired to be conspicous of people (sometimes even a bit too naive).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I consider myself fairly well travelled, however, I have so far not been a very active member of this community, my old account from 2009 got deleted due to non-use. My flatmates used to Couchsurf and also host and I have also surfed couches before, so I am more than familiar with the concept :-)

Update 2017: After a break from 2012 until now I am back and willing to get back into couchsurfing!!

I am easy to please. I like almost anything concerning movies, music and books, everything I read, listen to, see will always change me and I will learn something from it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although I do not consider myself a romantic person (or an early riser), top of mind best things EVER are sunrises in various locations:
1. Gobi desert
2. Great wall of China
3. From the Dome of St. Peter's overlooking Rome
4. Acropolis
5. The Mall in DC
6. ANY Seaside (Fraser Island, Great Barrier Reef).
7. Hilltop temple in India.
8. Serengeti National Park Tanzania.
The world just seems at peace in those moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to improve my skills in different foreign languages and I hope my hosts will have the patience of talking to me in their mother tongue.
I am a history geek, so I would LOVE to show you my town.
