ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a fun loving, friendly person who loves to read, cook, explore, learn and do yoga. I live in Phoenix, Arizona... I do like it here, but always try to escape the horrid summers.

PHILOSOPHY

You are always able to rise to the occasion... I've had experiences where I kept piling on more "stuff" (i.e. classes, activities, hobbies, jobs) or was in a place where I didn't speak the language and I was always able to rise to the occasion and do what needed to be done. ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Officially, I have been a member on CS for a few years, although I have rarely needed to use it because I am fortunate enough to have many friends all over the world. ;-) But I have surfed while traveling with my sister in San Fran and had the best experiences... I love meeting new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister and I stayed in San Fran two years ago with a very cool guy with a beautiful apartment. It was so nice to do our own thing and then get to know one another over dinner and a bottle of red...

Interessen

I love Regina Spektor in general, Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart," good movies of all genres, and open air markets.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hmmm... Only three things I've seen or done. Well, I climbed the Aztec pyramids recently and loved that. I ate oysters out of the water along the Washington coast. And lastly I flew a glider plane near Tucson, AZ. All pretty cool to me. ;-)
