Overview
About Me
I just graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Neuroscience. I am taking a year off to continue to work as a pharmacy technician and to travel as much as I can before heading to Pharmacy School! I'm looking forward to backpacking across Europe with my boyfriend this summer (2015) and then later teaching English and developing Early Childhood Education Systems in South Africa. I'm pretty laid back, good at entertaining myself, and love hearing stories about the lives of others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to find places to stay while abroad to enjoy more of the local flavor rather than get stuck on the path tread by other tourists. I love making new friends where ever I am!
I am unfortunately unable to host at this time due to being abroad this year and just staying at my parent's in between trips; it wouldn't really be fair if I rented out rooms that weren't my own! Once I get my own place again, I'll be more than happy to host and repay the favor, wherever I end up.
Interests
I love reading and listening to music, above all else. I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking and other outdoor activities, though I do enjoy the occasional day inside, binging out on Netflix. I would love to learn as many languages as I can, and I also have a passion for studying the beliefs of different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
In no particular order...
Music: Muse, The Shins, The Strokes, The Kooks, The Black Keys, Passenger, Milky Chance, Queen, Great Big Pile of Leaves, Talkdemonic, Elliot Smith, Broken Bells, Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole. I really love most any music, though I spend most of my time listening to alternative and indie rock.
Movies: Moulin Rouge, The Fall, The Princess Bride, Big Fish, any Audrey Hepburn movie, Heathers, The Graduate, any heist movie, Nueve Reinas
Books: Picking your favorite book is like picking your favorite child.... I love mystery/suspense/thrillers, some poetry books, books that teach me about something I know nothing about (currently reading about Dream Mandalas), classics (currently reading Moby Dick), foreign books (favorite was The Unbearable Lightness of Being)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked in a University research lab where we worked on growing human brains from stem cells. BRAAAIIINZZZZZZ!
