I'm Kira, a German who grew up in London. My ultimate aim in life is to spread happiness. I like to talk to people about their past life and experiences, their opinions and inputs on all kinds of different topics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the perfect way to meet people from all over the world, and to discover the real personality of a place one is travelling to as opposed to just the touristy one.

Unless otherwise specifies at the top of my profile, I can't host at the moment because I am living with my parents. However, if you're visiting London and would like to meet up or be shown around, or if you live in London and want to meet up please send me a message.

Interests

I like breathing oxygen and fresh air, and have always enjoyed outdoor activities (although London isn't exactly the best place for this). Rock climbing is my favourite sport. I also love hiking and camping.

I love music and have played the cello since I was 5. I want to learn how to play many different instruments in the future, I am not sure how yet though. I like to listen to lots of different kinds of music, from classical music to indie music.

I also love volunteering and community action. I am very interested in anything to do with the environment or environmental sustainability, social justice and animal rights.

Lastly, another important interest is talking to people. I can talk about anything and enjoy hearing the stories of others. I believe this is the best way of learning about everyday life, and we would all benefit from talking to lots of different kinds of people. Then we could embrace the diversity that exists between people and it will turn is into better people.
