Hello! I'm Kira, a well-traveled and enthusiastic illustration student, artist, and amateur yogi :~) I spend most of my time on my mat, drawing, going for walks through the large forest I am lucky enough to live right next to, and reading. Nice to meet you!

I moved to Vancouver, Canada in May of this year, and it has been an incredible learning experience thusfar. I am struck by the imminent new-found freedom of life post-grad, and am eager to explore and to meet new people! In this coming year, I hope to drive down to California and spend a lot of time camping.

I've couchsurfed both through Portugal and in Montreal, Canada with my friends Tempo and Anastasia (respectively) and have had nothing but positive experiences.

This trip to Greece is my first time visiting - and I am bringing my brother, Anton! It is our first ever trip alone together (though we have both traveled a lot both on our own and with the rest of our family), and we are both really excited. Anton is currently studying law in Passau, Germany, and is the more impulsive of the two of us - he's a real sweetheart, a great cook, and loves to hike and spend time outside.

We are both high-energy people with a great enthusiasm and curiosity for all parts of life, and are looking forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the primary draws of Couchsurfing for me is the chance to meet and share lovely exchanges with strangers (and, often, newfound friends) in a manner not typical of traveling otherwise. I am looking forward to creating space with others that share a similar enthusiasm for and appreciation of everyday miracles - and to get to know the places I travel more intimately through the eyes of those that have spent more time there.
