I was a music teacher in my past life in Russia.

Apparently, despite a common theory that women can multitask, - I can’t. Ask my husband – David, an exceptionally nice man, who deals with me on daily basis – one can try talking to me, if I am shooting or if I am working in front of computer – I won’t hear. I can only focus on one thing. Can’t even make coffee for my guests and try to keep a conversation going at the same time.

I misplace words (in English only - thank God): Kitchen for Chicken; Cleavage for Cartilage; Shepherd's pie for German Shepherd and Capsicum> for Circumcision. Imagine a pure delight of our guests at the dinner table, when I ask my husband to slice a few “Circumcisions” for a salad or serve a “German Shepherd” while it is warm.

I am a person who likes to “wing it”. I hate structure.

I love the forest, can be there for many hours; like picking mushrooms and berries in the forest; like stepping on fallen leaves, enjoying their smell. Like everything about the forest – it is my ideal place of calmness and sanity.

Love horses. Can’t stay still when I see one. Beautiful woman whose soul shines through, horses and Magic Light – these three things will always make me want to pick up a camera.

Love thick and old books, their smell. Absolutely adore animals. Grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, goats and chickens.

Married for the third [final? lol] time to David; we have been together now for 14 years and love to travel and share stories.

David is lovely, friendly, a real handyman who can fix almost anything, man who writes software for hospitals and has a degree in pharmacy.

Our base is in Australia, 1 hour north from Sydney, in the beautiful coastal town - The Entrance and would love to host when we are in town. Plus we live in a really nice place, which is not normally somewhere tourists would go, so you get to see some of the "real" Australia! Its Pelican's Heaven here :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

David & and I love the idea of sharing experiences with others across this wide world, learning, engaging and understanding about each other.

We love the idea of giving before we can get, that's really Karma-esque! So while we plan to travel soon [heading to Italy in July, then to UK], and then onward for who-knows-how-long; we will also be here and can offer travellers somewhere quality and safe to stay.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach photography via online courses; but also love to share the art and techniques of photography. I used to photographs weddings, now concentrating more on Fine Art Portraits, Fantasy, boudoir, Vintage photography. I am not a bad cook so we can share some recipes and I would love to learn how to cook local cuisine

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experience, passion and love for photography as an art medium. Far more than simply snapping via a mobile phone, but seeing and understanding light, framing, posing etc so that truly outstanding images are created.
