About Me

I am a 23-years old dreamer with the goal to explore the world, to leave my footprints and to touche the hearts of others. Therefore my passion is to travel, meet new people and to get to know other cultures. When ever I have some weeks off, I try to get to a new place and let the adventure start. And right now I have the amazing possibility to travel on to Bolivia and Peru. Living the Dream?!

In general my travel time is really limited. becauseTwo years ago I started with Medical School in Heidelberg, Germany. And it is so hard and so much... I am happy to have finally free time.
Before that I volunteered for a year in Santiago del Estero, Argentinia. For me it is important to do something good with my life. So I hope to become a great doctor one day and work for the organisation "Doctors without borders."

What you should know about me is that I love to laugh and talk. For me the morning is always a good part of the day as it still could become the best day of my live. I have two sister which I miss when I am traveling, normally I am in a really good moon and totally open-minded to new experiences and ideas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me it is not a cheap way to travel, it is about getting to know amazing lives and their interesting lives , it is about immersing myself in the culture and it is kind of a surprise bag.
I think you can never know enough friends and every person you meet in your live has an effect on you and can affect your perspective and way of thinking. And it is Couchsurfing that brings us together and the resulting cultural exchange might bring also the world and all the human being together.

Interests

I love to dance: hip-hop, Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Jazz Dance but also traditional Dances like El Gato or Chacaera. But unfortunately I am not the best dancer so I still try to get better and learn new moves and styles ;)
With the dancing comes the music. Most of my time I hear pop or hip hop. But also one of my favourite bands is Simple Plan. And it is kind of ironic at the moment as I am in the US while they finally are on tour in Germany. This is life.

Besides that my interests are art, literatur and politics. I do not have a lot of knowledge about any artists but I just like it to try to imagine what they want to express. The awesome thing about art is that every person in the world can understand its language and have his own interpretation. My fascination for literature is based on the enormous variations and different ways of expression and story telling. While I went to school I was part of an acting group and I love improvisation.
For me politics is a reflection of the culture and the history. What do you think?

But I also like to hang out, cook and back, exercise and have fun- do what ever comes up :)

Music, Movies, and Books

When ever I am down or need new energy I put on "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesia and Gente de Zona and just dance and dance and dance :) But I also like Florence and the Maschine, Taylor Swift but also Red Hot Chili Peppers. And I am happy to get to know other singers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked on the Great Wall in China, visited Bethlehem and seen the glacier Perito Moreno

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some German and a few Turkish words as I started to learn it lately. I would love to learn about your city, what you love about it, where the best place to eat is, what I should do and what I should skip. Hopefully we can share interesting talks, unforgettable moments and learn different things from each other. And to get to know new perspectives and ways to think. I could also show you the Haka der Maoris :) You are going to laugh if I show it to you :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share travel experiences, the best moments, things that make us happy and maybe also some fotos. But as well favourite recipies, my backing skills (I promise to clean up afterwards:) , dance moves and a lot more. My friends love my breakfast after long nights, so you will get to try it as well when I am staying with you.
