I´m just a girl looking to experience the NEW: new friends, new cultures, new places, new feelings, new emotions, new languages...

PHILOSOPHY

I look around me and realize that people are not that happy (or so there faces seem). I try to do things that will bring a smile to my and others´ faces.

I take life and whatever comes my way in a relaxed manner. Even though sometimes I think I am a little too relaxed...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by going out there and looking for the NEW. Right now I am doing a study abroad in Brazil. Sounds good eh?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been hosted in Paris and Amsterdam by 2 guys and the experience was great! It worked out really well! I have also helped a few people get hosted in Ithaca. I live with 8 other girls so I can´t really impose surfers on them, but I have helped them locate a friend surfer who also lives in Ithaca with whom they can stay.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

parachuting! seeing Petra! seeing the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela! my first concert years ago with Shakira! scubadiving and swimming with dolphins! being in the midst of it all when Spain won the World Cup!

Teach, Learn, Share

I´m good at learning, or at least I try my best. I go out there and absorb what I see and try to do new things to learn more. I love taking classes in subjects that have nothing to do with my major and right now I have travelled many miles to better learn Portuguese. I am still working on the teaching aspect. I´m not yet sure what I can offer people, except maybe a crack of a smile or two with some of my sarcasm. Sharing a smile.
