About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Kira and it's nice to meet you. I grew up in a relatively small city in Oregon and after spending 22 years living in the same place I'm finally realizing my dream of traveling around the world. I am very inquisitive about the world and love learning about how things work. This fascination with how things work has led me learn all sorts of things, from how to make marshmellows and cheese from scratch to basic coding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to make friends and meet people when you are in a new place and it helps you connect to locals in way that would be difficult if you only stayed in hostels.
I've met many people through Couchsurfing and have been suprised again and again by how kind and generous people can be. The kindness I've been shown inspires me to go out of my way to help people when I can.

Interests

I love to read, explore, dance, and cook. In my spare time I love to dance in my kitchen while decorating cookies and cakes.
