About Me

I'm on couchsurfing since 2009 and actually last time when I was active on it is 2009...
I never use CS as a guest, I only hosted travelers and now I could say - the time for being a guest finally has come.

Me and two my friends are going to take a trip around Europe. On the car. On the old soviet car Volga(GAZ-24) 1973. We are going to visit about 15 european capitals and drive about 12000km.

Here is short info about us

Me: I'm an engineer and work in oil industry for ExxonMobil company on the remote russian island Sakhalin. In fact I work only for five months in a year and other time I could devote to what I really like. It is common things like traveling, reading, meeting friends and not really common like archeology, studying people handwritings… Yes it is not misprint, I’m professional graphologist and could tell you something about your personality just throw a glance at your handwriting:)
As I already mentioned I like reading. As a teenager I read a lot of science fiction like Isaak Asimov, Strugatsky brothers etc. Now I read everything. It could be russian classics like Tolstoy, Bulgakov or some other writers like Mario Vargas Liosa, Donna Tartt, or some light fiction like Dan Brown. But in fact most books which I read previous five years was non-fiction. Books about psychology, biology, evolution, history and so on. For example last one was «Parasite Rex: Inside the Bizarre World of Nature's Most Dangerous Creatures» Carl Zimmer :)

Tima&Olga: Now let me introduce my friends.
I know them for about 15 years and without doubts could say that they are right people for that kind of travel. Tima is a mechanical engineer, he has his own little business related to installation, maintenance and fixing various heavy-duty equipment. He is very interested in second world war history, aviation, military history and knows a lot of interesting stories and facts about it. Also he is keen on skydiving, so he could tell you how to do acrobatics in the sky) Here is his FB

Olga is a great sales-manager, but recently she decided to try herself in something new and now want to study antique business as it is directly related to her education. Anyway her main role in our travel is to control me and Tima and don't let us do stupid things)) By the way our goal in this trip is to reach Valencia where Olga's friend lives.
