About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people, experience new cities, gorge myself on local delicacies, and in general take the most from life

ABOUT ME

I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Animal Science and the intention of going to either Veterinarian or Medical school after. But, I discovered I was tired of studying and wanted to leave the safety of school life and work and pursue my passion of traveling.

I currently live in Parma, Italy and teach English as a second language, so if anyone wants help with English it's my profession! I'm trying to make the most of my time here and see as much as I can. I'm trying to find the best dessert in Europe, so far it goes to the Swedish princess torte (but I'm a bit biased as I'm half Swedish).

I tend to over-think everything but at the same time I make very impulsive decisions- hence the move to Italia. I have a good poker face, but luckily for those I play against no luck when gambling, but I really just love to laugh and make others laugh with me.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live by the golden rule, and to take as much from others as I'm willing to give.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS, and learning to make the most of it. Right now, I'd like to couchsurf; but, if anyone wants to come to Parma and have good food or a caffè I will play tour guide!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great, made new friends and ready to keep going.

Interests

Reading anything from trashy to nonfiction, though I tend to read less than enlightening novels lately.
Films- I am a self contained imbd. I can beat almost anyone at the movie game.
Food, especially dessert. I have an immense sweet tooth
Finding new music
Walking with no real purpose, well, really just to discover something new.
