Overview
About Me
Quite curious person. I enjoy trying different activities, like carting, jewellery making, tanning (not getting tan, but working with leather that is ;-)), and even forging (steel, not documents that is ;-)). Along the way, got two degrees in two almost opposite areas.
In summer, I sometimes just enjoy strolling through the city. Better yet, in a small company of one-two friends.
I was studying how to play chess for some time in childhood, enjoyed some muay-thai in my student years. But all of that is mostly forgotten, and now my primary hobbies are jogging and kicker.
As well, simple pleasures, like having various dishes (peanut butter, craft burgers, brut ciders, molded cheeses; masala tea, puer (or many other kinds of tea) or maybe just some junk food), or smoking hookah on a rare occasion, are also in my area of interest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Visiting country as a usual tourist is fine, but flavorless. You just go to places, where every tourist go, live in hotel, separated from the place you visit.
CouchSurfing (and bothering locals in general =)) is a better way to get deeper in foreign culture, to feel it, to share some real communication with people, raised in quite different circumstances and traditions.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a number of progressive metal/metalcore bands, occasionally some classic. I was dancing latin-american dances since some years, so would also listen to that music
Have watched a whole lot of movies, especially independent ones (Primer, Lobster, Shame, Funny Games ).
Occasionally watch anime for adults (don't mix with hentai).
I try to catch up with cultural stuff. "1984" was great, Camus, Kafka.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How about - rope-jumped from 90m?
