ABOUT ME

* Just returned from a long bike trip, down the pacific coast from Vancouver to Mexico. Time to pay back a lot of good karma - I've had so many wonderful people help me out on my adventure, now its time to pay it forward. *

Alright, so you know I live in Montreal. I came here about 5 years ago, to study in costume design. That's all over and done with, and then I worked making costumes until this past winter, when I decided to work for myself. I make a pretty wide variety of funky, freaky, steampunky, festival style clothing and accessories, and sell them through Etsy. I have a studio in my basement, my wonderful cave of creativity. If you come stay with me, you'll likely be sleeping down there, and if so, I should warn you that sometimes I sew late at night, when I'm feeling most creative. But we can work around that!
Other than sewing... I'm passionate about bikes. I volunteer at a community bike shop, somehow all my friends are cyclists, and my house is full of bikes even though we are only two living here.
I love living around people - I just like hearing sounds of happy people in my house, doing their thing. I have only one roommate, and he's travelling in Germany this month (august), so I'd like to host some travellers while he's away.
Lets see, what else! I'm a vegetarian, but you don't have to be, just clean up your stuff, whatever. I can probably maybe lend you a bike, depends on size. I'd love to show you around a bit, if there's time, ideally on a bike!! Haha, obviously. Guess that's about it - come and stay, be respectful, have a good time, everyone's happy. =)
