About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lets get on that plane and fly to a place that no one knows, untouched, and fresh in that unspoiled splendor.

ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Kirk and I graduated last year from the University of California, Berkeley. My time at college was spent increasing my vinyl collection, meandering the Berkeley hills, and exploring those watering holes that only recently turned 21yo college students could find appeasing. But in all actuality, I'm a pretty happy-go-lucky guy that studied Political Science and French (I always need an excuse to practice). I love getting off the beaten path, exploring the personalities of others, and maximizing the happiness of myself and those that I meet! Happy Couch Surfing!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be open about anything and everyone. I'm always willing to try new adventures and experience sites off the beaten path. I feel you will never be able to truly taste the world unless you take some risks!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was studying abroad I was able to travel A LOT throughout Europe which was pretty amazing! I got to couchsurf with some unique people in a lot of different countries! Now I'm looking to give back and show people what the Bay is all about :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed my fair share of couches both here in the US and in Europe. I've also hosted a few times which was a very different yet equally rewarding experience. Hopefully I'll be able to host more people soon or meet up for some CS events.

Interests

I love meeting new people, going out to clubs/pubs, music, art, cooking, politics, reading, movies (especially foreign and independent films), and just having a good time in general. I play the trombone! I like to play classical, jazz, and was in the marching band at my school. I also run, play tennis, and have recently taken up photography.
