ABOUT ME
Twelve months ago I packed my life into my car, packed up my full time job and packed myself off across the channel to start a new chapter of my life in France. Now I'm trying to make a living, taking on whatever adventures I can grasp along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only ever had chance to surf rather than host, due to accommodation situations, but it has always been a fantastic few days spent with inspirational people. Would love to host one day and offer a little slice of my life when I've found where I'm meant to be.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been really lucky and seen some incredible things when staying with hosts that I would never have had opportunity to see if I was staying in a hostel or a hotel. I'm loving seeing the real side of towns and seeing what people love about the town where they live. Here's to more great experiences...
Interests
My interests include cooking, dance (most styles but lindy hop has become my favourite in recent years), theatre, running, learning something new, reading, writing, yoga, meditation.

Seeing the sunset on Les Dunes de Pilat near Aracachon, France.
Driving a VW campervan around France.
Climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Going to the beach and swam in the (shallow) sea with orphaned baby elephants in an animal protection scheme.
Eating real homemade Pho.
Seeing the view of Sri Lankan tea fields from the mountains on a blue train.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always eager to learn something new and admire people who have so much knowledge and are inspired by their knowledge. This is my third year teaching English to French kids and teenagers, which is a priceless experience every day and is something I hope to continue doing in the future. I would love to hear of others' valued experiences and share stories.
