HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS.org, but I am more than willing to show travelers around Philadelphia and cook them a good meal. Still negotiating with roommates about letting people stay over.

Interests

In no particular order bicycles, bicycle repair, food, cooking, reading, turning fragmentary thoughts into some sort of statement, listening to music and good conversation, learning to speak spanish

I play the drums and I am also interested in programming drum machines. I would like to learn how to play the keyboard as well.

My taste is all the place depending on my mood. Sometimes I want to relax, sometimes I want to be stimulated and sometimes I want to rage at the world. So here is a short list Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Built to Spill, Sleep, Velvet Underground, Can, Autechre, Spoon, Photek, Bardo Pond, Trentemoller, Death, Meshuggah, Lamb of God, Ali Farka Toure, Soundgarden, Opeth, Morbid Angel, Slint, At The Drive In.

I love good science fiction like City and the City, Kraken, 1984, Brave New World, Wind-Up Girl, ect. I also enjoy reading about history and society.
