About Me

My friends call me Bear Grylls, so I made myself a fitting Instagram name - @thebeargrills (when making a request to stay, please tell me in your message what my last photo was on IG so I know you're not just copy / pasting ;)

I am a very outgoing person that is very motivated to make a difference in the world somehow. Currently trying to figure out how to do that but someday I will know my true path. I love everything that involves nature, adventure, technology, and adrenaline rushes. From backpacking to spearfishing to playing with fire to snowboarding, I do it all for pure enjoyment of the adrenaline.

I am a very kind person and willing to bend on knee and foot for others. I want to become more involved in the global community to affect positive change in others lives. I am a Christian and believe in Jesus, but still have a very open mind and love philosophical discussions. I had a life changing experience from a snowboarding accident several years back and it almost left me in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. It gave me a new perception on what life is and how fortunate I truly am. I want to influence others to realize how precious life is and how lucky they are with all the little things people take for granted everyday.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others the way you want to be treated, but treat them better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By having couch surfers stay at my wonderful location I have been blessed with sharing experiences and culture... as well as staying at other CS's houses and having wonderful similar adventures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met other couch surfers staying with friends who host and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My first experience was when a fellow CS host brought over her couch surfers to my place. We had a great time getting to learn about each others cultures and we even all slept peacefully under the beautiful starry night.

Interests

Everything interests me, especially if I have never heard of it before. I love to learn and expand my brain's capacity of knowledge.
