ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in the north island of New Zealand and have also lived, studied and worked in Auckland on and off for quite a few years now.

In 2008-2009 I lived in Berlin Germany and loved it. I met tons of awesome people and miss the friends I made there - so I absolutely want to get back to Europe in the near future…

I have just finished the hard slog of studying for 3 years and have completed my BA majoring in German and Writing studies - So my next mission is to set myself up in Melbourne and start exploring job opportunities. I'm pretty keen to try and create the life/lifestyle I want rather than get caught up in the live to work mentality. Which really isn't easy but it’s definitely the goal so with time I'm hoping to find an ideal balance :) - However right now the short term goal is to find a relaxed household with a cosy couch to crash on while I am house hunting!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed all around Germany and once I settled in Berlin remained in contact with the Berlin hosts who I had stayed with. We ended up becoming awesome friends. :) Which is brilliant!
