About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To write and travel: ideally at the same time

PHILOSOPHY

That everything tends to work out in the end, even if it seems impossible at the time. And if you keep waiting to do something, you're going to miss your chance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to CS. But learned about CS while traveling through South America and again while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2008. As I came into various towns, people -- strangers at the time -- welcomed us into their homes, which is sort of like CS, except these folks are called trail angels and it's not nearly as well organized as CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't officially couchsurfed or hosted -- yet. But many of my friends have and they can't stop saying enough about it.

As I mentioned earlier, I guess I have sort couchsurfed, but not through the organization. I spent five months on the Pacific Crest Trail and stayed with a half a dozen different people along the way.

Interests

Hiking, biking, traveling and rock climbing. Reading and writing are right up there as well.
