I am a first year Ph.D. student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, studying environmental anthropology.

I am quite active — I enjoy biking, running, swimming, hiking, skiing, and just being outdoors exploring! Otherwise, you can find me reading, studying, having a beer with friends, or seeking out some live music.

For the most part, I am very curious and open to learning and seeing new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling periodically over the course of the next several years doing dissertation fieldwork. It would be great to meet and stay with new people, share experiences and meals, and save a little money while doing so!
