Hi everyone! I am a blue-eyed, grey-haired 23 year old who loves to make others smile and spread happiness. I am a quiet and compassionate person who enjoys a night in watching movies or a night out dancing my booty off. I am on my way to becoming an art teacher and love helping others express their inner artist (everyone has one!!) I travel mostly with my boyfriend and other-half, Shawn. We both love to meet new people, experience new places, and live life full of laughter and fun. I am currently living in Savannah, Ga, where I was born and raised. I will be making my big move to the other side of the country (CA) once I finish school in the Spring of 2016. Traveling gives me such pleasure and I look forward to doing it for the rest of my life! One has to travel to find where they truly belong in this big world. I love to feel what the air feels like in different places and I am on the hunt to find my place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to meet new people, experience a variety of cultures, learn new things, hear cool stories, visit new places and build relationships all over the world if I can! When I was a teenager, my best friend's dad had couch surfers visiting constantly. It was always a joy to get to know these travelers and gain an understanding for the variety of people out there in the world and all they have to share. A lot of the surfers who visited left important and inspirational impressions on me as a teenager. I am looking for a similar experience now. I want to meet people whom I will always remember and appreciate. Experiences are all we have and the people you share them with can and will make them unforgettable! I will be graduating college soon and am going to start planning a cross country adventure from Savannah, GA to San Francisco, CA where my dad lives. I want to use Couchsurfing to build relationships with people across the country who will not mind hosting a recent college grad on the way to start her next big adventure!

If you are coming to Savannah, unfortunately my home is not big enough to share. But, I will be happy to show travelers around town and give advice on what to see, eat, and do here. I am on Couchsurfing not only to find places to stay, but to make new connections and friendships with people in my city or theirs!

Interests

My interests are all over the place. I love to be outside, riding my bike, taking a walk, or just laying in the grass. I love thrifting and expressing my style through random things I find. I love to spend the afternoon with my record player. I have a passion for children and more importantly love to teach them everything and anything about art and how to create and express themselves. I love to learn!! I have found that you can never stop learning and it is my job as a human to continue to learn each and every day, regardless of the lesson. I love interacting with people and spreading good intentions, thoughts, and feelings. I am a sucker for live music and funky beats. I have a passion for Art History and architecture. I have a huge list of churches and basilicas that I want to visit around the world. I love to visit museums, state parks, and other historical sites. I am a sucker for an awesome exploritorium or science museum! I love anything and everything Marvel and Harry Potter. I watch way too many movies and was raised on Star Wars and Dungeon and Dragon cartoons. I am very interested in learning about and experiencing new cultures, especially when it comes to food and wine! I love to spread love and enjoy a good dance party.

I have found a love for reading really only in my college years but some of my favorites are Wicked, The Spiderwich Chronicles, the Chronicles of Narnia, and anything Judy Blume. I also really love to read about child development and anything related to non-traditional ways of schooling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to share as much as I can with hosts, whether that be stories, knowledge, opinions, or friendship. I want hosts to know that I am willing to help out with anything, like cooking, cleaning, or if you just need someone to hear you talk for a while. I can also share laughs, smiles, and fun times! I like to make others happy, so all you have to do is tell me what you need!
