About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see, hear, smell, touch, taste, learn, create and love as much as i can.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Chicago, went to school in the city for Anthropology, traveled, and then settled in Wisconsin. I'm a Midwesterner at heart who loves adventure, food, music, and good conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect and seek to understand all of our differences, recognize and love all our similarities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Growing up, my family home was always a revolving door for anyone who needed a place to stay, so I've been very open to the idea my whole life. I had amazing experiences couch surfing in Europe and hope to have more!

Interests

Cooking, the accordion, painting/drawing/sewing/collaging. Guerilla art, philosophy, sewing, bike riding, seeing new places, trying everything. Culture. Colors patterns and texts. I'm also a radio DJ at a little volunteer radio station where I live. Radio and music are my first true loves.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love psychedelic rock music from all over the world, Bollywood, funk from Africa, alternative, punk, musicals, metal, pretty much anything. Ditto with movies and books. I mostly just like to explore sounds sights and ideas I've never experienced before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled, eaten amazing things, seen and heard amazing things. But one of the funniest things I've done was to program the local library's pay phone's number into my cell phone so that when I didn't know the answer to a random question I would call it and ask whoever answered. I guess you could say I pretty much invented Wikipedia. Ha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you how to cook, play ukulele or accordion, speak English, sew, make the best apple pie ever. I'm most excited about the things we don't even know we can learn from each other

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a fun time talking, singing karaoke, making food, listening to music, being goofy etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
