About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel sustainably and inexpensively while fully immersing myself in the culture!

ABOUT ME

I love going on adventures, learning new things, exploring, and meeting people from all over. I have lived and traveled abroad for a while, and am now embarking a new adventure in a new city - working a full-time job in Minneapolis. Lover of hiking, biking, skiing, books, podcasts, and having good conversations while eating good food. My favorite landscapes are mountains, lakes, and volcanoes.

PHILOSOPHY

Savor the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few CouchSurfers while living in Fargo and had some really great experiences; I love showing people around and helping them find things they like to do in my town based on my personal knowledge of places. I hope to continue meeting interesting people in my new home, while exploring the city alongside them. It's so important to see a place through a local's eyes to really understand it and experience the culture, and I value making connections that way.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, music, trying new foods, reading, and cooking with my friends. I also love deep conversations, having new experiences, meeting interesting people, and experiencing cultures different from my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter. Nuff said.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving in Argentina in 2013. The most recent cool thing I did was compete in my first triathlon!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the violin, origami, English, Spanish, and the art of serving a good mate (Argentine tea-type drink).

I'd like to learn more about how to cook traditional recipes, dance, and about cultures, customs, and languages of other countries. Especially interested in French, Chinese, and Arabic! I love trying new things and am open to learning whatever a fellow Couchsurfer has to offer :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Jamaica, Mexico, Palestine, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, Nicaragua, United States
